Learning Log for Week of May 2nd - May 5th.
My favorite thing this week was working on my boy scout badges.
Homeroom:
This week I worked on Math on Khan Academy. I also played my prodigy math game. I went on brain pop and watched some videos.
Math:
This week in Math I finished lesson # 11 in Math U See. This week it was learning how to skip count by 3. Learning how to skip count by 3 was easier than by 9.
English/Language Arts:
I worked on my Spelling-U-See and finished my lesson #6. I am learning about tricky 7 guy. It was the nursery rhyme about the old lady who swallowed a fly. One of the day you get to draw a picture, I drew a picture of the lady swallowing a spider.
Science:
This week in science we talked more about biomes. We starting studied marine water. We got to learn about the different levels in the ocean. Then we got to watch a movie by James Cameron about him going in a submarine down the mariana trench.
History/Geography:
This week in Geography we talked about the religions of our country. In South Korea many of the people there practice Buddhism. My mom says we are going to try and visit all the 5 major world religions sacred spots here in Utah. I am excited for the field trips.
Tech:
This week I kept working on my last assignment. I am starting to build different things and see if I can get the motor to make them move. I am excited to try new things this summer and then take the next lego class next year.
P.E:
We are still practicing twice a week. We have a soccer game on Saturdays. I got a new bag to help me load my gear. The games are becoming more fun. We are going to have a soccer party and soon.
